WHO IS LEONARD KLEINROCK?

He was born in "New York" on 13 Jun, 1934. He belongs to a "Jewish" family. He is currently living in "Los Angeles" United Stated of America.

He received his degree of graduation in 1951 from "Bronx High School of Science". In 1957, he received his "Electrical Engineering" degree from "City College of New York". He continued his studies in "Massachusetts Institute of Technology" and completed his master in 1959 and Ph.D in 1963 in "Electrical Engineering" and "Computer Science".

Having complete his studies, he started his career as a teacher from "UCLA". Later, he served as a Chairman of Computer Science Department during 1991-1995.

He is also know for internet development. He has won the rewards as followed:

1. Marconi Prize in 1986.
2. Harry H. Goode Memorial Award in 1996.
3. National Medal of Science in 2007.
4. IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal in 2012.
5. BBVA Foundation Frontier of Knowledge Award in 2014.
