WHAT IS HOVER BOARD OR HOVERBOARD?

A Hover Board or Hoverboard is used for personal transportation.
It is just like a skateboard in shape. It doesn't have wheels like a skate board. It has magnetic means of levitation whereas a skateboard has wheels for movement.

The first person who talked about a hover board is know as "M. K. Joseph". He talked about it in 1967.

At the time it was rarely know by public but "Back to the Future " film franchise made it popular.

"Jim Pitts" was inspired by "Marty McFly's" floating skateboard. This inspiration resulted in a hover board, yes, a real life hover board of Back to the Future film franchise.

Later on it has been developed and California based tech firm named "Hendo" built a hoverboard. It price was $10,000. "Hendo" inventors were "Jill" and "Greg Henderson".

In 2015, "Catallin Alexandru Duru" set a world record by travelling a distance of 275.9 meter which is 302 yards, at the height of of 16 feet which is up to 5 meter. He traveled over a lake by his own designed autonomously powered hover board.

After that, "Franky Zapata" made a new world record by travelling up to 2252.4 meters using a "Flyboard Air". He traveled nearly 2 km more than "Catallin Alexandru Duru". His name was written in "Guinness Book of World Record".

On 24 Dec, 2015 "ARCA Space Corporation" developed a hover board name "ArcaBoard". Powerful fans has been used in this hover board and its batteries provide enough energy for 6 minutes hovering.
